In my academic and professional experience, I have honed skills in tools like AutoCAD, Photoshop, and InDesign, leveraging them to communicate ideas and manage complex projects. For example, I collaborated with biomedical engineering students on designing a negative lung pressure ventilator.

Unlike traditional ventilators that use damaging positive pressure to inflate the lungs, our device mimics natural chest movement by creating negative pressure around the lungs, allowing them to function as they would in the body. We developed a needle-inspired mechanism attached to a dome containing the lungs (hanging) to expand and contract the space for pumping. My primary contribution has been coming up with and designing the mechanism and 3D modeling the working prototype in SolidWorks, helping to build it and coordinating between the engineering team and lung lab researchers.
